Via our website or email address (homesecurities@btconnect.com) we will only collect and process data that you provide to us, either directly eg. your name, address, email or other contact information from I.P addresses automatically picked up from our website, (we do not act upon or use any information regarding your I.P address). We may collect information about you only relevant to our business requirements. This will include information on the type of security equipment that you have installed or require to be installed, Eg, CCTV, Intruder Alarms Etc.

Credit or Debit card payment methods....We do not store either electronically or on paper any of your credit card details once payment has been made. We do store Bank standing order details solely for the purpose of amending any payment fluctuations. Should you cease to be a customer of ours, these details will be erased, either by customer request or within 12 months of the business arrangement ceasing.

We may from time to time contact you with information on our services and products. You may request that we cease doing so at any time.

5 DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will never share or sell your details with any outside business or third party, without your prior consent unless, we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

6 WHERE WE STORE AND HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

All our collected data is stored on our password protected server at our premises, which are fully insured and have Intruder Alarm and CCTV protection.

Any data taken out of our premises electronically for on site visits is password protected.

Any paperwork taken out of the premises for on site visits, is returned to the premises at the earliest opportunity for correct filing or destruction.

Some data may be stored on a remote secured server with end to end encryption.

We only used registered waste disposal companies.

7 ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION

You may request at any time, the information held about you by us. Please do so in writing or by email, using the contact information addressed in paragraph 2. There is no charge for you requesting this information and we will provide it within 1 month of your request.

8 CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
